01Is this an official Apple product?
No. iPhone Duo is Apple's foldable iPhone, in stores from 23 October 2026. This kit is an independent mockup of it for designers, and it is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Apple. The frames were modelled ahead of the keynote from the public reporting, and the pass that aligns them to Apple's published specification — 164.6 × 117.8 mm open, 5.2 mm thin, under-display inner camera — ships to every buyer as a free update.
02What file formats do I get?
The Figma part is delivered as a Figma file link — open it and hit Duplicate to drafts, and the folded and unfolded devices land in your own account as editable vector frames, no import step. Your download also carries transparent PNG exports of both states in both colourways. The Figma + Spline 3D bundle adds the Spline project (.spline) with White, Black and Glass scenes, a GLB/GLTF export that opens in Blender, Cinema 4D, three.js or back in Spline, a .splinecode file for web embeds with a paste-ready React and vanilla JavaScript snippet, transparent PNG renders of both states, and MP4 loops of the folding animation.
03Can I edit the layers and drop in my own screen design?
Yes. Nothing is flattened. The titanium contour, chamfer, polished inner edge, black-glass bezel and hinge spine each sit on their own layer, so you can recolour or restyle them. Each state has a dedicated Screen layer: paste your design into it, or hide it to get a transparent screen for compositing. The included home screens are built from the official Apple iOS 27 UI Kit, so the icons, dock, status bar and widgets are real components you can rearrange.
04What is the difference between the Figma kit and the Figma + Spline 3D bundle?
The Figma kit ($29) is the editable 2D mockups: folded and unfolded frames, two colourways, the layered device and a Screen layer per state. The Figma + Spline 3D bundle ($49) includes everything in the Figma kit plus the device modelled in 3D: three Spline scenes (White, Black, Glass), a folding animation with Folded and Unfolded states and a 2.6-second transition around the hinge, a GLB/GLTF export, a .splinecode web embed with snippets, transparent PNG renders and MP4 loops. Choose the bundle if you need angled shots, video or an interactive device on a website.
05What licence do I get, and can I use the mockups in commercial work?
One purchase covers you and your team, across as many projects as you like, for unlimited personal and commercial use: client presentations, App Store screenshots, portfolio pieces, marketing pages, pitch decks and videos. You may not resell, share or redistribute the source files (the Figma file, .spline, GLB or .splinecode files) on their own or as part of another kit, template or asset pack. The full text is in the licence linked in the footer.
06Does the kit match Apple's final iPhone Duo?
Close, and getting closer. The frames were modelled before the keynote from the leaks and landed within 3 mm of Apple's published 164.6 × 117.8 mm footprint, with the same near-square inner display and spine-side hinge. We are revising the geometry, bezels, camera and hinge to Apple's specification, including the under-display inner camera, and every existing customer gets that update free through the same download link they received at purchase.
07Do I need a paid Figma plan or a Spline account to use it?
No. The Figma kit uses standard features (frames, components, image fills) that work on every Figma plan, including the free tier. For the bundle, the GLB/GLTF, PNG and MP4 files work without Spline at all. Opening and editing the .spline project needs a free Spline account; embedding the .splinecode file on a site only needs the open-source @splinetool/runtime package.
